Mr Patrick has no previous experience, Mr Patrick’s Passion for teaching came from watching his younger family members grow up and helping nurture them into the young people they are today, Mr Patrick’s passion for teaching also comes from coaching numerous youth soccer teams and watching them grow and develop their skills.

Mr Patrick chose to work at MWNS as Mr Patrick wanted to further help more children realise their full potential and help nurture and develop it and MWNS is the perfect place for Mr Patrick to help students achieve this as well as to develop their confidence and further grow their knowledge.

North Shore Centre Manager

Mr Declan joined MWNS as an administrator and now serves as Centre Manager for the Willoughby centre. He is studying a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics and Political Economy at the University of Sydney and holds qualifications in payroll, administration, and customer service.

Passionate about education, Mr Declan ensures that lessons are productive, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s needs, giving parents, teachers, and students confidence in MWNS as a centre of learning.

Alex S.

North Shore Centre Manager​

Mr Stephen joined MWNS to help run all marketing effort for the business, and assist Mr Declan as Centre Manager of the Willoughby Centre. He holds both a Bachelor and Master of Marketing from Macquarie University and has over a decade experience working in big and small marketing teams.

Passionate about learning and education, Mr Stephen aims to instil a love of learning in everyone who comes into the centre. He believes that learning should be more than just building topic knowledge, it should also support things like creativity, emotional intelligence, self control, and the wide range of softer skills that help us become well rounded people.

English Tutor

Ms Bernice is an experienced tutor specialising in primary-level and Years 7–10 English. She values a student-centred approach that tailors lessons to individual needs, helping students build confidence, improve skills, and develop a genuine love for learning. 

Dedicated to adapting her teaching to each student’s strengths and challenges, she aims to inspire them to take ownership of their learning and achieve their goals.

Mr Owen is a dedicated and qualified Primary School Teacher with a BSc (Hons) in Marine Science from the UK. Since moving to Australia in 2008, he has taught across all primary levels in Public Schools on the Lower North Shore.

Specialising in OC and selective school testing, Mr Owen fosters a supportive, engaging environment, helping students excel while keeping learning fun and maintaining strong communication with parents.

Mathematics Tutor

Mr Devang is pursuing a Bachelor of Advanced Computing at the University of Sydney. With two years of teaching experience in India and experience tutoring in Sydney, he has extensive experience in one-on-one and small group settings. 

Mr Devang creates a friendly, engaging environment where students develop understanding and confidence. His approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps to maximise learning for all students.

Mr Mike holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics, a Graduate Diploma in Education, and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University. Mr Lachlan is particularly passionate about mathematics and loves building students’ confidence in the subject, empowering them within and beyond the classroom. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of New South Wales.

Mr Nicholas graduated from Knox Grammar School in 2025 with a predicted ATAR of 99. He has experience supporting Years 9–10 Advanced Mathematics through tutoring his younger sister, and has also coached and mentored students through his role at the Northern Suburbs Basketball Association.
