What you may need to know before booking online lessons.
How is maths effectively taught online?
Online maths lessons work because they’re interactive, personal, and flexible. Students learn through guided examples, digital activities, and constant communication with their tutor, keeping your child engaged and progressing confidently.
What makes MWNS different from other online tutors?
MWNS stands apart through genuine care, expert tutors, and personalised lessons that follow the NSW Curriculum. Every tutor is trained and mentored to deliver the same high-quality learning experience, online or in-centre.
What technology do we need at home?
Just a computer or tablet with internet, webcam, and microphone. Headphones help reduce distractions, but aren’t essential.
How soon will I see improvements?
Most families notice a boost in confidence within the first few weeks. Academic progress usually becomes clear in upcoming assessments or school reports.
How do I track progress if I’m not in the room?
After every lesson, tutors upload detailed lesson notes to the Parent Portal. You’ll see what was covered, how your child went, and what’s planned next.
You’re also welcome to speak directly with your child’s tutor at the start of class or during the lesson.
If you’d like to discuss enrolment or progress in more detail, your centre manager is available from 12–8pm on weekdays and always happy to help.
Do we have to commit to a full term?
No. Families can choose from three flexible options:
- Fortnightly: ongoing lessons, pause anytime with 2 weeks notice
- Termly: pay upfront for consistency and planning
- Single Lessons: perfect for one-off help
Can lessons be rescheduled?
Yes – with 24 hours’ notice. Make-up lessons can be booked through the Parent Portal or directly with your Centre Manager.
