Answers to the questions parents most often ask about Maths and English tutoring.
  • Primary (K – Yr6): Micro Group $64/hr | Individual $98/hr
  • Secondary (Yr7 – 10): Micro Group $68/hr | Individual $102/hr
  • Senior (Yr11 – 12): Micro Group $72/hr | Individual $106/hr

We offer Micro Groups (up to 3 students) and Private Lessons. Micro Groups are great for students who enjoy peer learning and can work independently for short periods. Individual lessons suit students with specific learning needs, catching up, or preparing for exams.

All lessons run for 60 minutes.

Flexible rescheduling is available. Provide 24 hours’ notice (or a doctor’s certificate), and you can defer and reschedule lessons anytime during the school year, as long as your child is enrolled. Changes can be managed easily via the Parent Portal or with assistance from the Centre Manager.

MWNS has over 15,000 in-centre and online resources. Tutors select the most suitable materials for each student, including worksheets, educational games, past papers, counters, dice, protractors, flashcards, and digital tools like PowerPoints.

Yes. We offer targeted programs for NAPLAN, OC, Selective, High School Yearlies, and HSC, focusing on subject mastery and exam strategies to help students feel confident on test day.

Absolutely. You can speak to tutors before or after lessons. The Centre Manager, Ms Jodie, is also fully informed on all student progress, so you can call or email her anytime for updates or questions.

Ms Tiana has a strong foundation in mathematics, having completed Mathematics Extension 1, and tutors students from Kindergarten to Year 6. With experience across school programs and private tutoring, she adapts lessons to suit different learning styles and ability levels.

Mathematics & English Tutor

Ms Rebecca has a Bachelor of Education with a specialism in Maths Education from University of Limerick Ireland. She has experience teaching across a wide range of schools and teaching kindergarten to year 6.

Ms Rebecca has also spent a year working as a Special Education Teacher in Ireland. In this role she gained experience teaching 1-1 and small group lessons, creating and providing targeted numeracy and literacy support, which she wishes to continue in her work at MWNS. She believes that students should be at the core of every lesson and that learning works best when it is tailored to the individual. From her experience she sees that students learn best when they are active agents in their learning and when they are in an engaging environment where they are encouraged to ask questions and supported when they make mistakes, acknowledging these as necessary to learning.
