Elizabeth discovered her passion for teaching through extensive tutoring in school programs and privately. She thrives on helping students grasp concepts they once found difficult and celebrates the confidence that follows. At Dulwich Hill, she leads her team with the same focus: creating confident learners who enjoy school and achieve their best.

Every lesson runs for 60 minutes.

With 24 hours’ notice (or a doctor’s certificate), lessons can be rescheduled anytime through the Parent Portal or by contacting the Centre Manager.

We use a mix of 15,000+ resources, including past exam papers, games, worksheets, counters, flashcards, and digital tools. Each lesson is tailored with the right resources for your child.

Yes. Our exam preparation programs cover NAPLAN, OC, Selective, High School Yearlies and HSC. They combine subject practice with proven test strategies.

After every lesson, you’ll receive notes in the Parent Portal with a summary of what was covered, tutor feedback, and next steps.

Ms Elizabeth is completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering and Health Science at the University of Sydney. She has a strong love of mathematics and excelled in Extension 1 and 2, the highest levels offered.

Mathematics Tutor

Mr Yiannis has taught in public schools and tutoring centres in Sydney since 2004, joining the MWNS teaching team in 2009. For almost two decades he has enjoyed implementing the best teaching strategies to help his students work to their potential.

Mr Yiannis completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Mathematics at the University of Patras in Greece. He believes the most satisfying and rewarding part of teaching is when he sees his students truly understanding and applying a concept that they once thought complex.

Ms Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Teaching from the University of Sydney. She has taught secondary English both locally and abroad, including at an international school in India, and has over ten years of tutoring experience.

Ms Paula Zimeri is an undergraduate Physics and Data Science student at the University of Sydney and a Primary and High School Teacher at MWNS. She began tutoring at 14, supporting her peers across a range of subjects and developing a patient, encouraging style that meets students where they are.

Inspired by a teacher who sparked her love of learning, Ms Paula strives to pass that spark on to every child. She plans lessons creatively around each student’s strengths and interests, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and genuine enjoyment in the learning process.

Ms Linara Tennakoon is an enthusiastic educator and undergraduate student currently completing a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering (Honours) at the University of Sydney. She holds a Working With Children Licence and has strong academic credentials, including A* results in Mathematics and English at both O-Level and A-Level. Ms Linara has professional teaching experience as a Lecturer and Course Coordinator (Mathematics & English) at Lanka College of Teachers Training and the Institute of Nations Professional Management, where she supported diverse learners through structured lessons and clear explanations. Ms Rimsha holds a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from the University of Western Sydney, specialising in English, alongside a Bachelor’s in English Literature. Ms Rimsha has gained valuable teaching experience across diverse, multicultural school environments including Macarthur Girls High School and Canterbury Boys High School, where she taught Years 7-10 English.
