Declan first joined MWNS as part of the administration team and now leads our North Shore Centre. He ensures everything runs smoothly and that every family enjoys their experience with us. Combining his academic background with a passion for creating empowering learning environments, Declan helps students grow in both confidence and results.

What are the fees at MWNS?
- Primary (K -Yr6): Micro Group $62/hr | Individual $92/hr
- Secondary (Yr7 – 10): Micro Group $66/hr | Individual $98/hr
- Senior (Yr11 – 12): Micro Group $68/hr | Individual $98/hr
What types of lessons can my child join?
We offer Micro Groups (up to 3 students) and Private Lessons. Micro Groups are perfect for children who enjoy learning with peers, while Private Lessons suit students who need one-on-one focus, exam prep, or tailored support.
What enrolment options do you provide
We keep enrolment flexible with 3 easy options:
Fortnightly (our most popular choice for ongoing weekly lessons with a consistent teacher)
- Direct Debit via EziDebit (only fees if a payment fails)
- Pause any time with 2 weeks’ notice — your child can still attend during this time
- Lessons continue seamlessly each term with automatic rollover
Termly (best for families who prefer upfront payments)
- Pay the full term in advance by bank transfer or phone
- Cannot be paused once the term starts
- Re-enrol during the enrolment window each term
Single Lessons (perfect for one-off lessons, trial sessions, or exam prep)
- Book up to 6 days ahead
- Payment due at booking
How many lessons do families usually book?
Most students attend two lessons per week – one in Maths and one in English.
What happens if we miss a class?
With 24 hours’ notice (or a doctor’s certificate), you can easily reschedule through the Parent Portal or with your Centre Manager.
Who will be teaching my child?
North Shore tutors at MWNS are experienced teachers with a passion for helping kids succeed. All have Working With Children Checks. They share notes and work together, while Centre Manager Declan keeps track of every child’s progress plan.
Are lessons based on a curriculum?
Yes. Lessons follow the NSW curriculum and NESA guidelines. Tutors also understand the teaching styles of local North Shore schools, so everything connects back to the classroom. Parents can view progress on the Parent Portal anytime.
Do you work with students from my child’s school?
Probably! We support students from many North Shore schools, including Artarmon Public, Cammeray Public, Chatswood Public, Neutral Bay Public, Willoughby Public, Lane Cove Public, North Sydney Demonstration School, Shore, Wenona, Monte Sant’ Angelo, Redlands, Marist College North Shore, Chatswood High, Willoughby Girls, and North Sydney Boys/Girls – just to name a few!
