Ms Lhara leads the South Sydney tutoring team with warmth and dedication, creating a student-centred environment where confidence and skills grow together. Lessons go beyond content mastery to build resilience, spark curiosity, and inspire a love of learning.
Passionate about fostering a love of learning, Ms Lhara places students at the centre of every lesson, building confidence and encouraging growth.

What are the MWNS tutoring fees?
- Primary (K – Yr6): Micro Group $62/hr | Individual $92/hr
- Secondary (Yr7 – 10): Micro Group $66/hr | Individual $98/hr
- Senior (Yr11 – 12): Micro Group $68/hr | Individual $98/hr
Who will be teaching my child?
Your child is supported by an entire team at MWNS. Teachers collaborate and share lesson notes to ensure continuity of learning. Our South Sydney tutors are experienced, passionate educators with a current Working with Children Check, supported by Centre Manager Ms Lhara, who oversees every student’s progress plan.
Are lessons based on a curriculum?
Absolutely. Our tutors are familiar with the NSW curriculum, NESA requirements, and the teaching approaches common in local south sydney schools. They teach personalised lessons and track student progress against the NSW curriculum, which you can view anytime on the Parent Portal.
Do you work with students from my child’s school?
Probably! We work with students from South Sydney schools, including Alexandria Park, Botany Public, Champagnat College, Cranbrook, Daceyville Public, Eastlakes Public, Gardeners Road Public, Mascot Public, Matraville Sports, Moriah College, OLR, OLSH, Pagewood Public, Reddam House, Rose Bay Secondary, South Sydney High, St Andrews, St Michael’s, St Spyridon College, St Vincents, Sydney Boys/Girls, Sydney Grammar & Tempe Public – just to name a few!
What resources are used during tutoring lessons?
We have over 15,000 resources in-centre and online. Tutors select the most suitable worksheets, hands-on tools, and digital materials to personalise each lesson. Commonly used resources include clocks, educational games, past paper questions, counters, dice, protractors, flashcards, and PowerPoints.
Do you provide homework?
Yes! Homework is set to reinforce skills, with around 30 minutes allocated per class. We can adjust the workload to suit your child’s workload and goals – just let us know!
How can I track my child’s progress?
Your child’s tutor will share detailed lesson notes after every lesson via the Parent Portal. Each update includes a written evaluation and progress tracked against the NSW Curriculum.
